GHISL Rules

GHISL Players/Managers,

The GHISL has received several complaints regarding the physical nature of play in the Gloucester Hornets Indoor Soccer League (GHISL).   We would like to remind all teams of the following:

-          Due to the confined nature and high tempo of Indoor Soccer, physical contact is prevalent. Teams are asked to play better passing and movement in their soccer and to avoid deliberately aggressive or clumsy physical contact.

-          The referee is the decision maker on physical contact being a foul, serious foul or violent conduct.

-          Any complaints concerning the GHISL must be sent in writing to either:

o   Gloucester Hornets Indoor Soccer League, 1660 Bearbrook Road, Gloucester, Ontario,  K1B 1C4, Phone: 613-837-7015

o   Or by email to ghisl@tmsiottawa.com

-          All teams must read through Rule 12 – Fouls and Misconduct of the OSA Indoor Soccer Laws of the Game, which will be enforced by the GHISL referees. All rules may be downloaded from www.superdome.ca or from www.soccer.on.ca.

Teams are also reminded that spitting in the Superdome Facility is not acceptable at any time and at the discretion of TMSI Sports Management or any referee, any person(s) found to be in violation of the this rule may be asked to leave the premises.
